TENANTS RIGHTS COUNSELING
Counseling is available to SF RENTERS聽 in Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, English and Russian.聽
The Housing Rights Committee offers free counseling on tenants rights issues for San Francisco Renters. If you live in another California county, contact , which is a statewide organization.聽
If you鈥檙e having a housing problem (such as an illegal rent increase, eviction, mold, repair issues, etc.), we will provide appropriate information about your legal rights, as well as resources and referrals during our counseling clinic hours.聽
If you come in person, it is helpful if you bring all the paperwork you have received from your landlord (eviction notice, unlawful detainer, letters) as well as a copy of your lease (if you have one) and proof of income (pay stubs, benefits letter, online paycheck records), if possible (only for our reporting purposes).聽聽
